Cardiaster curtus

Taxonomy
Cardiaster curtus was named by Clark and Twitchell (1915). Its type specimen is USNM 31201 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 25 miles SW of Mingusville, which is in a Campanian marine shale in the Pierre Shale Formation of Montana.
