Taxonomy
Artichthyocrinus limani was named by Mao et al. (2018). Its type specimen is NIGP 166473, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tianxi Village, Shanying Town, which is in an Asselian marine siltstone in the Taiyuan Formation of China.
