Taxonomy
Comarocystites tribrachius was named by Parsley and Mintz (1975). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 3.5 miles south of High Bridge, which is in a Chatfieldian deep subtidal ramp grainstone/packstone in the Lexington Limestone Formation of Kentucky.
