Taxonomy
Archaeopteryx albersdoerferi was named by Kundrát et al. (2019). Its type specimen is SNSB BSPG VN-2010/1, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Daiting (BSPG collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Mörnsheim Formation of Germany.
