Taxonomy
Chirocrinus radiatus was named by Jaekel (1899). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Volkhov river, which is in a Kunda marine horizon in the Obukhovo Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Cheirocrinus radiatus by Bassler and Moodey (1943); it was recombined as Cheirocystis radiatus by Paul (1972).
