Legnodesmus ehlersi
Taxonomy
Legnodesmus ehlersi was named by Howell (1958) [Ehler's Plate 36 fig. 6]. It is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Solnhofen (Ehlers collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Legnodesmus.
