Ferigolomys pacarana
Taxonomy
Ferigolomys pacarana was named by Kerber et al. (2018). Its type specimen is UFAC 6460, a partial skull (fragment of skull with cheek teeth with right P4–M1 and left P4–M2.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Niteroi, which is in a Tortonian fluvial-lacustrine claystone/conglomerate in the Solimões Formation of Brazil.
