Taxonomy
Qianomena unicosta was named by Rong and Yang (1981). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shiqian, which is in an Aeronian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Xiangshuyuan Formation of China. It is the type species of Qianomena.
