Taxonomy
Pustulobairdia ohmiensis was named by Tanaka (2018). Its type specimen is MPC-24974 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gongen-dani Valley, Ryozensan Mountain, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate lime mudstone in the Ryozensan Limestone Formation of Japan.
