Ornamentation mostly arranged in bands more or less parallel to lines of growth, while within the bands the individual dentine ridges are arranged diagonally, or sometimes transversely or irregularly with respect to the bands. Branchial openings behind the dorsal disc at the posterior tips of the branchial plates.
