Taxonomy
Karadagithyris boullierae was named by Halamski and Cherif (2017). Its type specimen is UKM-LGS Bp 1/6, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Outcrop B, Oued Tounkira, which is in an Oxfordian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Argiles de Saïda Formation of Algeria.
