Arca galei

Taxonomy
Arca galei was named by Wiedey (1928). Its type specimen is SDSNH 21, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LSJU loc. 427, Benedict Canyon, which is in a Miocene coastal horizon in the Vaqueros Formation of California.
