V. R. Alifanov and S. V. Saveliev 2015Ornithomimosaurs of relatively small size (at most 1.5 m long). Frontals elongated. Upper jaw teeth present. Manus noncompact. Metacarpals I massive and asymmetrical, their distal condyles ginglymoid. Preungual phalanx of digits III relatively small, low, and relatively short, slightly longer than basal phalanx of this digit. Ungual phalanges of manus considerably varying in size, large in digits I and small in digits III. Flexor tubercle displaced from articular surface of ungual phalanges. Femora shortened compared to shin bones. In metatarsals IV, proximal head smaller than in other metatarsals. Feet retaining elements of digit I. Body cover squamous.
