Adelohelea burmitica

Taxonomy
Protoculicoides burmiticus was named by Szadziewski and Poinar (2005). Its type specimen is OSU In. C-1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.

It was recombined as Archiculicoides burmiticus by Szadziewski et al. (2016) and Szadziewski (2018); it was recombined as Adelohelea burmitica by Borkent (2019); it was misspelled as Adelohelea burmiticus by Borkent and Dominiak (2020).
