Taxonomy
Ferganoconcha was named by Ljutkevitch and Nalivkin (1960). It is not extant. It is the type genus of Ferganoconchidae.

It was assigned to Ferganoconchidae by Cox et al. (1969) and Bouchet et al. (2010).
