Taxonomy

Euparkeriidae was named by Huene (1920).

It was assigned to Ornithosuchoidea by Kuhn (1964); to Chirotherioidea by Kuhn (1966); to Pseudosuchia by Huene (1922), Huene (1942), Kuhn (1946) and Charig (1967); to Proterosuchia by Cruickshank (1978); to Archosauria by Benton (1985); to Ornithosuchia by Carroll (1988); and to Archosauriformes by Nesbitt (2011) and Sookias et al. (2014).

Halazhaisuchus, Osmolskina, Turfanosuchus shageduensis

Synonyms

Turfanosuchus shageduensis was named by Wu (1982). Its type specimen is IVPP V6028, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhuengeerqi, which is in an Anisian terrestrial sandstone in the Ermaying Formation of China.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Sookias et al. (2014).
