It was corrected as Epilachninae by Lawrence and Newton (1995); it was reranked as the tribe Epilachnini by Tomaszewska and Szawaryn (2016).

It was assigned to Coccinellidae by Lawrence and Newton (1995); and to Coccinellinae by Tomaszewska and Szawaryn (2016).
