Taxonomy
Ariadnaria stibara was named by Saul and Squires (2008). Its type specimen is LACMIP 13371 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCLA loc. 3464, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Budden Canyon Formation of California.
