Taxonomy
Tritonium paucivaricatum was named by Gabb (1864). Its type specimen is ANSP 4194 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Bonellitia (Admetula) paucivaricata by Stewart (1927); it was recombined as Bonellitia (Admetula) paucivaricatum by Turner (1938), Squires (1984) and Squires (1988).
