Taxonomy
Angarosphex baektoensus was named by Jon et al. (2019). Its type specimen is CKGP 2015913, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Paektodong, Sinuiju City, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Sinuiju Formation of North Korea.
