Collignoniceras klamathensis
Taxonomy
Fagesia klamathensis was named by Anderson (1958). Its type specimen is CAS 455.01, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 455, Henley (Fagesia siskiyounensis horizon), which is in a Turonian marine siliciclastic in California.
It was synonymized subjectively with Eupachydiscus haradai by Matsumoto (1959); it was recombined as Collignoniceras klamathensis by Mertz (2017).
