Cartierodon egerkingensis
Taxonomy
Cartierodon egerkingensis was named by Solé and Mennecart (2019). Its type specimen is NMB.Em.11, a mandible (right mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Egerkingen, gamma fissure, which is in a Bartonian fissure fill horizon in Switzerland. It is the type species of Cartierodon.
