Taxonomy
Habroblattula laiyangensis was named by Chen et al. (2019). Its type specimen is SKD-LYQ-201808089, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Nanligezhuang, Laiyang City (SKD collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China.
