Parvoolithus tortuosus
Taxonomy
Parvoolithus tortuosus was named by Mikhailov (1996). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 4479-1, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khongil Tsav [SMPE] (PIN coll. 4695, 4479), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Parvoolithus.
