It was considered a nomen dubium by Vickaryous et al. (2004).
It was assigned to Thyreophora by Huene (1958); to Nodosauridae by Tatarinov (1964); to Ankylosauridae by Maryanska (1977), Coombs (1978), Carroll (1988), Dong (1992), Eberth et al. (1994) and Ford (2000); and to Nodosauridae by Bohlin (1953), Romer (1956), Huene (1959), Kuhn (1964), Romer (1966) and Arbour and Currie (2016).
