Taxonomy
Remigiomontanus robustus was named by Spindler et al. (2019). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UGKU 1997, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Remigiusberg Quarry, which is in a Gzhelian/Asselian lacustrine sandstone in the Remigiusberg Formation of Germany.
