Taxonomy
Echinarachnius ungaensis was named by Wagner (1974). Its type specimen is USNM 181144 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bear Lake, Unga Fm., which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Unga Formation of Alaska.
