Sterculioxylon deccanensis
Taxonomy
Sterculioxylon deccanensis was named by Lakhanpal et al. (1978). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BSIP 1505, a wood (wood). Its type locality is Mohgaon, Nainpur, which is in a Paleogene fluvial horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.
It was recombined as Sterculinium deccanensis by Guleria (1983), Srivastava (1991) and Wheeler et al. (2017).
