Taxonomy
Myliobatis prenticei was named by Chapman and Cudmore (1924). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warun Ponds Quarry, which is in a Chattian marine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Jan Juc Formation of Australia.
