Taxonomy
Actinoceras lesperancei was named by Holland and Copper (2008). Its type specimen is GSC124391, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is A0905. Homard Circle road, which is in a Richmondian/Hirnantian carbonate limestone/shale in the Ellis Bay Formation of Canada.
