Devincenzia was named by Kraglievich (1932). It is not extant.
It was assigned to Phorusrhacinae by Alvarenga and Holfing (2003), Gould and Quitmyer (2005) and Bertelli et al. (2007); and to Phorusrhacidae by Carroll (1988), Tambussi et al. (1999) and Tambussi et al. (2023).
