Empetrichthys erdisi

Taxonomy
Parafundulus erdisi was named by Jordan (1924). Its type specimen is Stanford University Paleontology Type Collection 605, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Liebre Creek, which is in a Pleistocene marine horizon in the Labontan beds Formation of California.

It was recombined as Empetrichthys erdisi by Fierstine et al. (2012).
