Protodictyoolithus jiangi

Taxonomy
Dictyoolithus jiangi was named by Liu and Zhao (2004). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is DNM D737-D740, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jiangjunding, Laiyang, which is in a Coniacian/Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Jiangjunding Formation of China.

It was recombined as Protodictyoolithus jiangi by Wang et al. (2012), Wang et al. (2013), Zhao et al. (2013) and Zhang et al. (2017).
