Serratocerithium usanium
Taxonomy
Serratocerithium usanium was named by Compton (1944). Its type specimen is Stanford University 7756, a shell (basal whorl and next two whorls), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stanford locality 2691, ridge east of Santa Ynez Canyon, which is in a Selandian coastal sandstone in California.
