Taxonomy
Corviconodon was named by Cifelli et al. (1998). It is not extant. Its type is Corviconodon montanensis.
It was assigned to Triconodontidae by Cifelli et al. (1998), Cifelli and Madsen (1998) and Gao et al. (2010); and to Alticonodontinae by Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004) and Gaetano and Rougier (2011).
