Taxonomy
Ceratites hidimba was named by Diener (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsangchokla Mountain Pass, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in China.

It was recombined as Hollandites hidimba by Diener (1907) and Spath (1934).
