Fargoa nodosa

Taxonomy

Chrysallida nodosa was named by Carpenter (1857). It is extant.

It was recombined as Fargoa nodosa by Hendy (2021).

Synonyms

Odostomia (Chrysallida) gomphina was named by Oldroyd (1925). Its type specimen is USNM 352515 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nob Hill cut, San Pedro, which is in a Pleistocene marine horizon in the San Pedro Sand Formation of California.

It was synonymized subjectively with Fargoa nodosa by Hendy (2021).
