Lyropecten vaughani

Taxonomy
Pecten (Lyropecten) vaughani was named by Arnold (1906). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ojai Valley, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in California.

It was recombined as Lyropecten vaughani by Moore (1984) and Smith (1991).
