Pithonoton angustum

Taxonomy
Pithonoton angustum was named by Reuss (1858). Its type specimen is GSA 2357, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Longodromites.

It was recombined as Longodromites angustus by Patrulius (1966), Muţiu and Bădăluţă (1971), Schweitzer and Feldmann (2009), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Franţescu (2011) and Schweitzer et al. (2012).
