Pucapampella rodrigae
Taxonomy
Pucapampella rodrigae was named by Janvier and Riglos (1986) [A small chondrichthyan in which the occipital part of the neurocranium is completely separated ventrally from the rest of the braincase. There is a large canal for the notochord in the occipital part of the braincase, and the paired dorsal aorta enters the braincase laterally to the canal for the notochord.]. Its type specimen is MNHNBol.V003284, a partial skull (an isolated occipital part of the neurocranium exposed in ventral aspect), and it is a 3D body fossil.
