Dixella priscula

Taxonomy
Dixa priscula was named by Cockerell (1921). Its type specimen is NHMUK In.24345, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Greenwalt and Moulton (2016); it was recombined as Dixella priscula by Lukashevich (2019).
