Dinnebitodon amarali
Taxonomy
Dinnebitodon amarali was named by Sues (1986). Its type specimen is MNA V3222, a partial skeleton (a crushed snout with upper dentition, left dentary, and associated postcranial remains, mostly still in concretions), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dinnebito Wash (MNA 30/78A, MNA 52/78A, MNA V3222)), which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian floodplain siltstone/sandstone in the Kayenta Formation of Arizona.
