Taxonomy
Bandellina compacta was named by Hausmann et al. (2021). Its type specimen is PZO 12840, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lago Antorno bulk sample, which is in a Julian basin reef marl in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
