Parioscorpio venator
Taxonomy
Parioscorpio venator was named by Wendruff et al. (2020). Its type specimen is UWGM 2163, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Waukesha Lime and Stone Company quarry, which is in a Telychian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal mudstone/dolomite in the Brandon Bridge Formation of Wisconsin. It is the type species of Parioscorpio.
