Paradomnina was named by Hutchison (1966). It is not extant. Its type is Paradomnina relictus.
It was assigned to Soricidae by Hutchison (1966) and McKenna and Bell (1997); and to Heterosoricinae by Van Valen (1967) and Gunnell et al. (2008).
