It was corrected as Microsyopsidae by Hay (1930).
It was assigned to Cheiromyoidea by Wortman (1903) and Wortman (1903); to Proglires by Hay (1930); to Plesiadapiformes by Rose and Bown (1982); to Paromomyoidea by McKenna and Bell (1997); to Microsyopoidea by Gunnell (1989) and Hooker et al. (1999); and to Primates by Bloch et al. (2007), Silcox et al. (2010) and Rose et al. (2012).
It was corrected as Microsyopsidae by Hay (1930).
