Synonyms
  • Ebenoxylon kalagarhense was named by Trivedi and Misra (1983). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kalagarh, which is in a Miocene fluvial horizon in the Lower Formation of India.

    It was considered a nomen nudum by Srivastava (1991).
  • Ebenoxylon mahurzarii was named by Paradkar and Vinchurne (1971). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mahurzari, which is in a Paleogene lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.

    It was considered a nomen nudum by Srivastava (1991).
