Taxonomy
Mckennamorphus was named by Szalay (1976). It is not extant. Its type is Mckennamorphus despairensis.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pseudotetonius by Krishtalka and Schwartz (1978) and Bown and Rose (1987).

It was assigned to Tetoniina by Szalay (1976); and to Omomyidae by McKenna and Bell (1997).
