Taxonomy
Pedinodechenella modelli was named by Lieberman (1994). Its type specimen is YPM 33762 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ramparts of the Mackenzie River, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone in the Beavertail Formation of Canada.
