Taxonomy

Hopeoxylon was named by Navale (1963). It is not extant.

It was assigned to Dipterocarpaceae by Andrews (1970) and Lakhanpal et al. (1976); and to Fabaceae by Srivastava (1991).

Copaiferoxylon was named by Mueller-Stoll and Maedel (1967). It is not extant. Its type is Copaiferoxylon migiurtinum.

It was synonymized subjectively with Hopeoxylon by Srivastava (1991).

It was assigned to Leguminosae by Blazer (1975).
Detarioxylon was named by Boureu and Louvet (1975). It is not extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Hopeoxylon by Srivastava (1991).
